I’m officially announcing it here that my wife and I are expecting our second baby this fall. We’re really excited and nervous all over again. It was such a life changing experience the first time round with our son Jayden that it’s sometimes hard to believe it’s going to happen again. At least this time round we can hopefully count on previous experience rather than flying by the seat of our pants! Here is a sneak peak photo of the baby, and by the way we’re not planning to find out the sex.

Ok here we go again. I have to first say that I’m sorry for not updating this blog in a long while. I fell off the blog wagon, literally. We’ll I’m back on now and there is so much to update you all with I won’t be able to tell you everything in one post. Over the upcoming days and weeks I’ll bring you up to speed with what’s been going on around here, what’s new with MJP Photography, and what I have in store for my clients.

First, the renovations are complete for the most part. To say things didn’t go as planned would be an understatement but looking at the upside we’re happy with the results. As you’ll see from the photos below, we’re still in the process of getting the place furnished but its coming. If you're planning your wedding and would like to setup a time to meet with me, please let me know and you're more than welcome to come over.

You may also be looking at the walls and be thinking that Mike, the walls are bare. Where are all of your photos? Patience grasshopper, I’m in the process of sourcing a supplier that will install a hanging wire system on the blank wall (last photo) so that I’ll be able to easily show some beautiful prints and be able to update and change them easily.

I’ve come to accept the fact of life that there will always be something to do, nothing is ever actually complete, but that’s ok, and I’m ok with that now.
